Movement & Pain

Not all movement is created equal. Good movement helps & heals, bad movement hurts & harms. Not all exercise is right for you. What you want is only the good kind & that’s all we use, custom fit just for you!

We all move differently in subtle ways. Each person has unique biomechanical movement patterns that are as unique as their finger prints. Our biomechanical screening system decodes your pattern then recodes it with a precise movement prescription.

Movement related pain is a reality of life for most people at one time or another. It can be a frustrating & disheartening experience as it squeezes the energy & enjoyment out of life.

Whether your pain & movement impairment is due to injury, repetitive strain, overexertion, or a degenerative condition there are overlooked natural movement solutions available for most people, especially those who have tried repeatedly & given up or have been told, “there is nothing that can be done.”

We find & fix the source of your pain, movement, or performance problem. So you can reclaim your comfort & confidence. Do more of what you live for!

Orthopedics / Spine / Post-Op

Not all Orthopedic Physical Therapy is the same. In fact, it varies widely. Musculo-skeletal disorders are the most costly category in healthcare and the number one cause of disability. Since life is short and quality of life is important, it’s important to make the right decisions when it matters most.

Traditional treatment is usually driven by a medical diagnosis focusing on a single isolated joint, like a shoulder, hip, or knee, to relieve pain and regain mobility using modalities, machines, manual techniques, and generic exercise protocols. While that’s not unreasonable as far as it goes, that is only as far as it goes. Residual deficits are the accepted norm.

Advanced Specialist treatment is driven by a dynamic functional assessment and full restoration of physical function, performance and safety. This shifts the focus from medical to functional, from isolated joints to interregional integration, and from minimum viable ability to optimal performance, and from generic protocols to an individualized precision process. The difference is measured in quality of life for a lifetime.

Our Advanced Specialist approach is truly world-class. It skillfully integrates biomechanical testing, treatment, training, exercise and education to enable self-management and an active lifestyle, health, and wellbeing. It incorporates both the art and science of functional movement and performance to fully restore safety, comfort, capacity, confidence, and competitive performance to meet your challenges and go beyond. Rise to your potential. Make Your Move!

Sports

Not all sports medicine and rehabilitation services are the same. If you are an athlete you have a competitive spirit by nature. You are fueled by challenge & driven by possibility. While you compete against others, the real competition is within yourself. It’s not enough to just be “cleared” to play; you need to be confident and competitive for any challenge that comes your way. Anything less can come at the cost of your career or problems later in life that can cost you your quality of life and even your independence. It’s time to get real. It’s time to get world-class help.

Optimal performance means there is nothing holding you back – not physically, not emotionally, and not behaviorally. When all of the resources within you are fully recruited, aligned, unlocked and loaded you are ready to unleash your best performance in comfort, confidence, and control.

Traditional sports training and conditioning programs focus only on basic strength, flexibility, and endurance. Some go further with power, speed and quickness training but even then the training is both inefficient and incomplete. Such training approaches are incapable of finding & fixing underlying biomechanical performance issues even for professional athletes. Why?

There are 7 reasons… They are not:

  1. 3-dimensional
  2. Functional.
  3. Sport / task specific
  4. Individualized
  5. Dynamically Integrated
  6. Adaptive
  7. Subconscious

So critical biomechanical glitches & gaps are routinely overlooked and not fixed, leaving performance suffering and far short of potential.

PT WEST Functional testing & training systems find & fix hidden biomechanical problems to unshackle and empower your performance. Nothing holding you back – it’s what you want!

Master Training

Not all training is created equal. Good training builds you up physically, mentally, & emotionally; while bad training breaks you down in body, mind, & spirit. What you want is only the best training… and that’s all we do!

Good training leaves you energized & encouraged; not exhausted or discouraged. It’s fun & satisfying. Hint, unless it’s truly personalized for your unique movement code, it’s not really Personal Training. No one-size-fits-all for you!

Whether you train for health, fitness, sports, or simply to look & feel your best, you want training you can trust. You want training that is efficient because you don’t have time to waste.

Welcome to 3-Dimensional Training. It’s different. It’s better. It breaks the traditional training mold not you. 3-D delivers better results in less time with less effort because it is individualized to you & your goals. Nothing is wasted. Nothing is missed. Everything comes together to bring out the best in you.

Great training begins with a Great Trainer & System. Experience the best. You’ll feel the difference. Guaranteed.
