About Us

PT West is a performance-driven physical therapy clinic built for active individuals and athletes who are serious about results.

We work with everyone—from those fighting to walk without pain, to athletes chasing championships at the highest level. We specialize in treating athletes of all ages, from Little League to the Big Leagues.

Our mission is simple:

Identify the problem, attack it directly, and guide you all the way back to full performance.

Inside our 6,000 sq ft, one-of-a-kind facility, we combine clinical expertise with advanced biotechnology you won’t see in most clinics.

Our clinicians have dedicated their lives to solving the biomechanical challenges that hold people back. We understand the frustration, the setbacks, and the grind it takes to move forward.

We’re not just here for treatment. We’re here to stand alongside you in the process—helping you chip away at progress, one step at a time, until you reach your version of victory.

Whether that means living pain-free, returning to sport, competing at an elite level, chasing a gold medal or a world series ring .

If you want passive care or a place to relax, this isn’t it.

If you want clarity, direction, and real results— we’re ready to get to work.

PT West are proud partners with leading educational institutions as a Clinical Instruction site for doctoral candidates working towards their Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). This enables PT West to develop constructive relationships with DPT programs to positively influence the next generation of physical therapists.

PT West welcomes the opportunity to form new partnerships with DPT programs. Please email Clinic Instruction Program Director, Dr. Adam Bernandino at adam@ptwest.com

Your outpatient clinical rotation doesn’t just check a box—it defines how you will think, treat, communicate, and perform as a physical therapist. At Physical Therapy West, DPT candidates are immersed in a demanding, fast-paced, and highly mentored clinical environment designed to accelerate real-world growth.

Each DPT candidate receives one-on-one instruction with an appointed Physical Therapy West Clinical Instructor, ensuring daily feedback, hands-on guidance, and accountability. This is not a shadowing experience—it’s an active, high-expectation rotation where students are challenged to think critically, adapt quickly, and raise their clinical standard every day.

With a deep bench of highly credentialed and specialized DPTs, students learn directly from board-certified orthopedic clinical specialists. Clinical exposure at Physical Therapy West extends beyond traditional outpatient orthopedics into specialized sports rehabilitation and performance training, including care for High School, college and professional baseball players, basketball, football and tennis players.

For DPT candidates who want more than routine care—who want to learn how to treat high-level patients, communicate with demanding populations, and operate at a professional standard—Physical Therapy West offers an unmatched clinical experience. Through our Clinical Instruction partnerships, Physical Therapy West also identifies high-potential DPT candidates who demonstrate clinical excellence, work ethic, and professional maturity as future members of the Physical Therapy West team.

Physical Therapy West’s Clinical Instruction model elevates patient care through collaborative treatment. Patients benefit from the combined expertise of two physical therapists—the instructing DPT and the DPT candidate—working together to deliver thoughtful, attentive, and progressive care. This team-based approach not only enhances clinical outcomes, but also increases scheduling flexibility and patient access.

Clinical education at Physical Therapy West is more than a learning experience—it’s a professional proving ground. Through our Clinical Instruction partnerships, we intentionally identify high-performing DPT candidates who demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, work ethic, and alignment with our standards of care.

DPT students who excel during their rotation may be considered for future employment opportunities with Physical Therapy West upon graduation and licensure. This creates a clear pipeline from student to practicing clinician, allowing top candidates to transition seamlessly into a professional role within a system they already understand and trust.
